In this intriguing video, she not only offered fans an insight into her makeover process but also encouraged them to experiment with the alluring Rani Chatterjee style.
In the film, where she shares the screen with Ranveer Singh, Alia skillfully embodies the role of Rani Chatterjee, a TV news anchor. Her character dons an array of saris paired with bralette-style blouses, accentuating the blend of tradition and modernity. Her hair flows freely or is elegantly tied into a bun, adding to the character’s charm. The video showcases the meticulous journey led by renowned Bollywood makeup artist Mickey Contractor, who masterfully crafts Alia’s transformation into Rani Chatterjee. Alongside her Instagram post, Alia expressed her gratitude for the overwhelming affection showered upon “our Prem Kahaani.”
The enchanting process commences with Mickey priming Alia’s complexion through cleansing and moisturizing, followed by the application of concealer and foundation for a flawless base, further set with translucent powder. The mesmerizing look evolves as Mickey crafts soft, smoky eyes with mascara, faux lashes, and delicate eyeshadow. A touch of blush and highlighter enhances her cheeks, complemented by a glossy lip balm and a nude pink lipstick.
